The movie "Big Trouble" filmed over the summer of 2000 in Miami has finally hit theatres! Because of it's subject matter the release of "BT", which was supposed to open in mid-September 2001, was postponed because of the September 11 tragedy. It stars Tim Allen, Rene Russo, Janeane Garafolo, Heavy D, and Omar Epps among others . . . including yours truly in a memorable cameo appearance with MTV's resident 'Jackass', Johnny Knoxville. The always tongue-in-cheek Director, Barry Sonenfeld, noted my performance as a stroke of "comic genius". You be the judge when the film opens in 2001! (See picture on "Photo Page")
"Miss Miami", an NBC pilot, hit the streets of Miami in Spring of 2002. This comedy/drama/espionage show stars the beautiful and charming Roselyn Sanchez ("Rush Hour 2"), Jonathan Siverman, and Keith David. In a stroke of brilliant casting, I play Agent Baines, head of the Secret Service in Miami. Look for it to hit the small screen in the Fall.
"Frankenstein's Demon", a stage adaptation of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" that I wrote has been getting great buzz around the country. The premiere staged reading at South Florida's Mosaic Theatre proved to be a compelling evening for all who attended. I look at it as my "Rocky" . . . after all, being 6'6" and 275 pounds, who better to play The Monster! Hopefully, news of a full-fledged stage production will be forthcoming. Stay-tuned!
